Mastering The Wild

Would You Like to Make A Living From Your Foraging Activities?

Hey Reader ,

Over the last couple years, I have created a class just for the Professional Forager or someone wanting to become a professional or just learn more about foraging and make value added products. The 2 weekends that I taught this class were well received by all of the students!

Is this of interest to you? Just think, you can do something that you love by foraging the wild abundant invasives, make products from them and earn a living!

Mastering The Wild will do just that in one weekend. You will learn about the many invasive plant species in the southeast, the time of year they grow, how to harvest, how to preserve, make products or sell raw, the legalities including cottage food licensing, labeling and more.

We will not be going over mushrooms to sell but we will be identifying and harvesting some. The Mushroom Certification program goes through Mushroom Mountain but this program complements it completely!!

Mastering The Wild is June 21-22 from 9:00am - 4:00pm each day. Click the button to find out more. Hope to see you there!!

Count down to 2025-06-20T00:00:00.000Z

MORE UPCOMING EVENTS

The weekend is modeled after the NC Wild Foods event - the one I just got back from and holy moly, the food, it is all about the FOOD people! Of course there will be classes on foraging, mushrooms, herbal meads and sodas, finding salts in the wild and more. The best part is the actually Wild Foods Dinner where every single person helps out and makes wonderful dishes with the help of our team leaders.

Here is the flyer and you can scan the QR code or go to the link.

Here are a few pics from the NC Wild Foods including Jerusalem Artichoke chips, Kudzu chips, Magnolia Ice Cream, Bamboo shoots filled with Chickweed Pesto, Poke & Cream Cheese Shoots, Quail, Pheasant, Mushroom Soups, Mushroom Breads, Hickory Syrup and more I cannot even remember.

Some reminders of "In The Works" projects! Still working on the Membership site, sorry it is not ready just yet!

I do need YOUR help as my students, followers and amazing supporters!! Please reply back to me 1 or more things related to the above that you want or need to learn. Foraging wild food is my passion! To be able to find food and medicine almost every day is an old skill that has been forgotten by many. It is my job to ignite that spark in YOU to get out there and forage too. I teach homesteaders and preppers how to identify wild plants and mushrooms to use for food and medicine.
